Little but Fierce is based on the popular 5th Edition ruleset but it has been simplified and streamlined to become easily accessible to kids as young as six (but still plenty of fun for those who are one hundred and six!). The changes cover three main areas:
Rules, ensuring that unnecessarily complicated rules have either been simplified or removed entirely, keeping the spirit of 5E there without the scope for pedantic "rules lawyering"
Language, making sure that both key terminology and prose explanations are as simple as possible, so that either a young child can read this themselves or a parent can read it to them with minimal need for paraphrasing
Tone, keeping the fantasy fun but avoiding unnecessary mentions of more adult concepts such as death or potentially controversial ones like fantasy deities
