Continual Flame这个法术是明确定义了照明范围的，我不觉得一个普通的牛眼提灯就能改变这一点……
A flame, equivalent in brightness to a torch, springs forth from an object that you touch. The effect looks like a regular flame, but it creates no heat and doesn’t use oxygen. A continual flame can be covered and hidden but not smothered or quenched.
Light spells counter and dispel darkness spells of an equal or lower level.
Material Component: You sprinkle ruby dust (worth 50 gp) on the item that is to carry the flame.

只说了碰的东西亮度相当于火把，没有规定这个东西的照明范围是多少。至于那个冒火的东西怎么用，是拿在手上还是用来做牛眼提灯的灯芯，这完全可以由PC自己决定吧？
EDIT:/me 坚决不认为规定了亮度=规定了照明范围。同样的光源有没有聚光镜照明效果是完全不同的。如果认定规定了亮度=限定了照明范围的话拜托请给出规则上的依据，否则怎么组合物品是PC自己的事。
当然，组合物品批准不批准是DM的事……
